A: This is simply a review of various tacos that can be found around Fort Worth.
Q: Why?
A: Because Fort Worth's taco scene is highly underestimated, and taco fans within the city need edification on where to visit/avoid.
Q: Do you get paid?
A: Of course not. I am simply reviewing tacos.
Q: What types of restaurants do you review?
A: First, "restaurant" is a broad term. Some reviews will be that of a taco truck. Some will be a garage. Essentially, any place that piques my interest that serves tacos will be reviewed.
Q: Do you get free meals?
A: Nope. In fact, 99% of the time I am reviewing these establishments, the owners/managers/cooks, are not even aware.
Q: Will you take recommendations?
A: Absolutely!
Q: How often to do you do reviews?
A: I will endeavor to publish a review weekly.
Q: Explain the rating system
Give your money to charity instead (preferably St. Jude's).
If you are in the neighborhood, it might be worth a try--as it's better than Taco Bell.
Definitely recommend. You'll begin to experience quality tacos.
Get your arse their ASAP. Incredible tacos!

ReplyDeleteLove the site. Have you tried the steak at Melis? It's one of my favorites, esp with the fresh lime. Also, there's a new taco cart at 7th and Carol Th-Sun nights called Taco Heads. I haven't been there yet, but I hear it's ok. Have you been? It's in the parking lot of the 7th Haven Bar & Grill.

Has anyone tried Chile Pepper Grill?? It's a fort worth taco truck. Me and my friends drove by Main and 36th and saw this bright lit up trailer and decided to try it. I think they are about the best tacos I've had so far. The green salsa is really yummy. you may considering visiting and reviewing them one day. I think they are there thursday-sundays late (prolly 6-3am or something you can prolly ck their website) these are like Mexico city style tacos. you won't be disappointed! (love the blog btw!)

ReplyDeleteI definitely recommend that you try Salsa Limon! I eat at the taco truck location all the time. I'm in love. Tongue, spicy pork, chorizo, barbacoa, chicken, or steak with lots of other options like egg, avacado, 3 different salsas, etc.
My order: barbacoa burrito, no rice, no beans, add egg
It's delicious! Whether you're reviewing it or not, I recommend that you do your mouth a favor and stop by for a taco or burrito.
